What crew catering actually costs in Paris
With us, feeding a crew for a full day, breakfast, lunch and something to graze on between takes, costs between €52.90 and €58.90 per person. Below €40 you are no longer buying a full day, you are buying lunch alone.
Our rate starts at €58.90 per person per day for a short booking, drops to €55.90 from five days, and to €52.90 from fifteen. A thirty-day shoot for forty people therefore comes to €63,480, against €70,680 at the single-day rate.
The volume rate is not a gesture. Over a long period, purchasing improves and the logistics settle down. We pass that on rather than keep it.
What makes a set different from an office
A crew does not eat at a fixed time. We deliver within an agreed window and leave the table accessible, so nobody waits for everyone else to be free at once.
There is no kitchen on a set, and often no spare power for hot holding. Everything we deliver is designed to be eaten cold or at room temperature, with no equipment, no power and no staff standing by.
Access is the main cause of delay: no parking, street permits, a single lift, an upper floor with no service lift. Give us the exact address and the floor when you order and we set the delivery window accordingly.
Crew numbers move from day to day. We work on a firm headcount per week, adjustable until the preceding Friday for the following week: tell us about changes in time and each week's headcount is set to your real needs.
What a day includes
In the morning, before the first call: breads and pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, pressed juices, coffee in flasks, teas and infusions.
At midday: sandwiches on artisan bread, composed salads served in bowls, crudités and dips, cheese, bread, fruit or something sweet. Vegetarian options are included as standard.
All day: dried fruit and nuts, cereal bars, fresh fruit, hot drinks and juices, with cups and napkins. The table stays in place until you wrap.
Dietary requirements, vegetarian, pork-free, gluten-free, are covered at no extra cost as long as we know when you order.
For productions shooting in Paris from abroad
We work in English end to end: quote, terms, invoices and correspondence. A British or American production receives exactly the same documents, in its own language.
The vocabulary differs. What is called craft services in the United States is, here, the snack table kept stocked through the day; the crew lunch is a separate thing. We supply both, together or separately.
Net prices, with no VAT to add and nothing to reclaim: the figure you see is the figure you pay.
Frequently asked
- What budget should I allow for crew catering in Paris?
- Between €52.90 and €58.90 per person per day for a full day covering breakfast, lunch and snacks: €58.90 for a short booking, €55.90 from five days, €52.90 from fifteen days of shooting.
- Do you deliver more than once a day?
- Yes. Breakfast is dropped before the first call, and lunch is a second delivery at midday so that it arrives freshly made rather than sitting on set since the morning. This second delivery is included in the day rate.
- Do we need staff or a kitchen on site?
- No. Everything arrives ready to eat, with no cooking, no power and no staff standing by. Your team has nothing to set up or clear away.
- Can the crew size change during the shoot?
- Yes, week by week. The headcount is firm for the current week and adjustable until the preceding Friday for the next one. An increase is invoiced in addition; a decrease does not lower the price.
- How much notice do you need?
- Twenty-four hours across Paris and Île-de-France for most menus, five days elsewhere in France. Payment must be received before the first day, which reserves the slots for the whole period in your name.
