In Paris the difficulty is not the distance but the stop: few loading bays, one-way streets, reserved lanes and, in older buildings, a staircase or a small lift instead of a goods lift. We ask for the floor, the name of the contact and the door code or the concierge, and we set the arrival time ahead of the morning peak. In towers and recent buildings, delivery goes through the loading bay or the security desk, with a visitor badge.
