What halal means on our menus
Every meat on the halal menus is certified halal: chicken, beef and lamb. The certification applies to the meat itself, not to a word added to the name of the menu. There is no pork anywhere on these menus, no pork gelatine in a dessert, and no alcohol in any dish, sauce, dessert or drink: the halal menus come with waters, juices and hot drinks. The pastries served at a halal breakfast are guaranteed free of non-halal animal fat and of alcohol.
Halal is not the same request as pork-free, and we treat the two differently. A large share of our standard menus are pork-free by default; the halal menus go further, with certified meats and nothing cooked or finished with alcohol. When you ask for halal, that is what you get, stated on the quote.
Halal trays arrive sealed and labelled, kept apart from the other trays in transit, so nobody has to ask which one is theirs. When you order on-site set-up, the halal menu is laid out on its own station with its own serving utensils, and no halal piece is ever presented on the same platter as a non-halal one.
We do not claim that everything we prepare is halal. The guarantee covers the halal version of each menu: certified meats, no pork, no alcohol, and trays kept separate at delivery and at set-up. If your organisation needs more than that, say so in your request and you will have a clear answer before any figure is quoted.
What halal catering costs in Paris
An individual halal meal tray costs €44.30 per person, with a choice of two menus. Menu A, Flavours of the Orient: a mezze trio of houmous, aubergine caviar and tabbouleh, tandoori chicken with basmati rice, two cheeses and a baklava. Menu B, Mediterranean: burrata with cherry tomatoes and pesto, a salmon fillet with lemon and dill sauce and penne with grilled vegetables, two cheeses and a lemon meringue tartlet. Bread, cutlery and a napkin are in the tray.
For a group, allow €18.90 per person for a halal breakfast (20 people), €39.90 per person for a halal lunch buffet (30 people) and €42.50 per person for a halal cocktail reception (50 people, 16 pieces per guest). Each format is also available at larger headcounts on a quote.
Halal is not charged as a supplement. Each menu has its own price, which comes from what is in it: the halal buffet at €39.90 sits inside the range of our other buffets, €22.50 to €50.40 per person, and the halal tray at €44.30 inside the range of our trays, €27.40 to €53.50. Prices are net, with no VAT to add and nothing to reclaim: the figure on the page is the figure you pay.
Delivery is included across Paris and Île-de-France, with a €90 supplement in Seine-et-Marne. Disposable tableware is included. On-site buffet set-up is an option: €90 up to 30 guests, €190 up to 100, €390 up to 300. The minimum order is €300 per delivery, counted on the whole delivery rather than on the halal share alone.
One order for a mixed office
Most Paris offices that order halal do not order halal alone. The simplest format is the individual tray: in one order, on one delivery and one invoice, you give us the number of halal trays and the number of trays from another menu, and each arrives sealed and labelled. Forty guests of whom twelve keep halal is twelve halal trays at €44.30 and twenty-eight trays from the rest of the catalogue, with nobody having to ask which is theirs. Vegetarian and gluten-free trays fit in the same order, named for the person they are for.
For a buffet or a reception, two options. The first is to order the halal version for everyone: a halal buffet eats like any other buffet, and it is the only way to avoid two queues and two stations. The second is a halal buffet or reception for the guests concerned, laid out on its own station next to the other menu.
Everything is composed on the morning of delivery and arrives ready to serve, with disposable tableware included. There is no cooking on site and nobody from us stays on site: buffet set-up is the only on-site service, as a paid option, and there is nothing to install on your side.
For international teams and events in Paris
We work in English end to end: the quote, the terms, the invoice and every message in between. A head office in London, Dubai or New York ordering for its Paris team receives documents it can read and pass to its finance department as they are.
The four halal menus can be ordered online at the price shown. For a mixed team, a large headcount or a full day with several deliveries, describe your event: you receive a priced proposal within 2 hours during the day (9am to 6pm), and before noon for a request sent in the evening, signed and paid online, by card or by bank transfer when the date allows.
Notice is 48 hours for the halal breakfast, meal tray and lunch buffet, and 24 hours for the halal cocktail reception, anywhere in Île-de-France. We do not shorten them.
The halal menus are the ones on this page: a breakfast, a meal tray, a lunch buffet and a cocktail reception. We do not do themed recipes or decor, and a request outside these formats, a hot plated meal for instance, is not what we do; we will tell you straight away rather than quote for it.
