Halal corporate catering in Paris: a buffet that works for the whole team

For HR managers6 min read

A halal menu is not a tray set apart: it is a complete buffet, from €13.60 to €32.60 per guest, that the whole team shares. How to compose it and order it with 48 hours' notice.

Halal corporate catering in Paris: a buffet that works for the whole team

What a halal menu guarantees

A halal menu in our catalogue rests on three rules: the meats are halal, no pork-based product enters the composition, and no alcohol appears, neither in the dishes nor in the drinks offered with them. The pastries of the halal breakfast are prepared without non-halal animal fat. The drinks group of these menus replaces the glass of champagne with a glass of alcohol-free sparkling wine, at €8.90.

What the menu does not claim: a certification we do not hold, nor a separate preparation. We work by selecting halal meats and by composing without pork or alcohol. That is what is written on each product page, and that is what the client receives.

For a company, the practical question lies elsewhere: should you order halal for three people or for the whole team? The answer is almost always the latter. A halal buffet is eaten by everyone; an isolated halal tray at the end of the table gets noticed.

The four formats and their prices

The halal breakfast, €13.60 per guest, from 10 guests: two pastries per guest, bread with butter and jam, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and teas. It is the format of the morning meeting and the welcome of a training session.

The halal lunch buffet, €32.60 per guest, from 10 guests: mezze (houmous, aubergine caviar, tabbouleh, pitta), roast halal chicken and halal roast beef served cold, falafel, cheeses and desserts. A whole team shares it, vegetarians included thanks to the mezze and falafel.

The halal meal tray, sold individually at €29.80: three menus to choose from, including Flavours of the East (houmous and crudités, halal tikka-style chicken, cheese trio and baklava) and Mediterranean (tomato and mozzarella, gravlax salmon and lemon tart). It is the format of the meeting that stays in the room. The generous halal cocktail, €30.70 per guest, from 10 guests, lines up 20 pieces including halal chicken wraps, tikka-style marinated chicken skewers, falafel and houmous verrines.

Composing for the whole team

First option, the simplest: the whole buffet halal. Nobody can tell their share apart, the mezze and salads please everyone, and the question no longer arises at the next order. It is the choice of teams where several people eat halal, or of companies that do not want to count.

Second option: a classic menu for the team and individual halal meal trays for the guests concerned. It works for a seated meeting where everyone has their own tray anyway. It works badly for a buffet, where tongs and dishes end up mixed.

In both cases, tell us the other dietary requirements present when ordering: vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies. Halal menus already include meat-free pieces and dishes; a gluten-free complement is planned per guest.

Notice and ordering

Halal menus are ordered 48 hours ahead, except the generous halal cocktail at 24 hours: selecting the halal meats takes a day longer. A Thursday lunch meeting is therefore ordered on Tuesday before noon. Above 100 guests, the notice does not change, but set-up and logistics are priced on a quote.

Orders are placed online from the menu's page, or through a quote request for a particular headcount or composition. Prices are net (VAT not applicable), delivery is included across Île-de-France except Seine-et-Marne, disposable tableware is included. Payment is made by card when ordering; for large company orders, by bank transfer against a signed purchase order.

Three common situations

A seminar of 40 people with five halal guests: halal lunch buffet for 40, no separate tray. Everyone eats the same thing, the budget is €32.60 per guest, nothing to explain on the day.

A committee of 8 of whom one eats halal, in a seated meeting: meal trays for all, including one halal tray with the Flavours of the East menu. The halal tray arrives labelled; nothing gets noticed.

A welcome breakfast for 20 people before a training session: the halal breakfast suits the whole room, pastries included, at €13.60 per guest. It is the simplest order and the one that avoids the most mistakes.
